Technical Network is seeking a Business Development Manager to promote robotic and factory automation products across the South of England to Systems Integrators and OEM users. The role supports existing clients and builds new relationships to boost uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify end user manufacturing customers for robotic and automation systems, products and services.
• Identify opportunities for new robot sales, upgrades, spare parts, service contracts, training or consultancy.
• Visit customers to maintain and grow existing accounts and expand robot/automation business.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering solutions.
• Generate quotations and technical proposals meeting client requirements.

Technical Network has been retained by a market leading intelligent automation and industrial robotics manufacturer who are seeking a Business Development Manager to promote their products across the South of England to Systems Integrators and OEM manufacturing end users. Area Sales Manager (Robotics / Factory Industrial Automation)

c£60000 salary + car + health insurance + excellent commission

Location: Home Counties, South East & South West of UK

Duties:

Working in coordination with Key Account Managers to support existing clients and establish new client relationships and ensure best customer experience based on robot uptime and efficiency.

• Identify end user manufacturing customers to provide innovative robotic and factory automation systems, products and services.
• Identify business opportunities for new robots sales, upgrades, spare parts, service contracts, training or consultancy services
• Visit customers to maintain and update existing accounts and develop increasing robot and automation business
• Translate customer technical requirements into solutions
• Generate quotations and technical proposals that meet client requirements

Experience required:

Applications are sought from experiences Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineers or Business Development Managers who can demonstrate motivation and drive to identify and win new clients across your territory, utilising your understanding of factory industrial automation & robotic solutions.

• Demonstrate successful sales career winning new business and growing existing clients accounts within the field of industrial automation/robotics/sensors
• Proven track record selling industrial automation/ robotics/ products into the manufacturing sector
• Commercial ability relating to project costs and contracts, margins and sales pricing
• Ideally HNC/Degree level qualification in an engineering discipline
• Positive attitude, drive and motivation to take ownership of your territory and grow market share
• Live in the South East or South West of UK to cover Southern England sales territory
