Executive Network Group has partnered with a market-leading intelligent automation and industrial robotics manufacturer to recruit a Business Development Manager for the UK South region. Responsible for promoting a broad robotics and automation product range to Systems Integrators and OEMs, the role offers a competitive c£60,000 salary plus car, health insurance and strong commission.

The successful candidate will drive new business, support existing accounts and translate complex requirements

Qualifications

• Proven sales career winning new business and growing existing accounts in industrial automation/robotics.
• Commercial ability relating to project costs and margins.
• Ideally an engineering qualification (HNC/Degree).
• Motivation and drive to own and grow the territory.

Responsibilities

• Work with Key Account Managers to support existing clients and establish new relationships for robot uptime and efficiency.
• Identify end user manufacturing customers for robotic and automation systems and services.
• Identify opportunities for new robot sales, upgrades, spare parts, service contracts, training or consultancy.
• Visit customers to maintain accounts and develop robot and automation business.
• Translate customer technical requirements into practical solutions.
• Generate quotations and technical proposals meeting client requirements.

Technical Network have been retained by a market leading intelligent automation and industrial robotics manufacturer who are seeking a Business Development Manager to promote their products across the South of England to Systems Integrators and OEM manufacturing end users. Our client is a brand leader with a huge market share and substantial Industrial Robot and AMR product range.

Area Sales Manager (Robotics / Factory Industrial Automation)

c£60000 salary + car + health insurance + excellent commission

Location: UK South territory

Duties

• Working in coordination with Key Account Managers to support existing clients and establish new client relationships and ensure best customer experience based on robot uptime and efficiency.
• Identify end user manufacturing customers to provide innovative robotic and factory automation systems, products and services.
• Identify business opportunities for new robots sales, upgrades, spare parts, service contracts, training or consultancy services
• Visit customers to maintain and update existing accounts and develop increasing robot and automation business
• Translate customer technical requirements into solutions
• Generate quotations and technical proposals that meet client requirements

Experience required

• Applications are sought from experiences Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineers or Business Development Managers who can demonstrate motivation and drive to identify and win new clients across your territory, utilising your understanding of factory industrial automation & robotic solutions.
• Demonstrate successful sales career winning new business and growing existing clients accounts within the field of industrial automation/robotics/sensors
• Proven track record selling industrial automation/ robotic products into the manufacturing sector
• Commercial ability relating to project costs and contracts, margins and sales pricing
• Ideally HNC/Degree level qualification in an engineering discipline
• Positive attitude, drive and motivation to take ownership of your territory and grow market share
