TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a welcoming primary school in Pontypridd. You will lead whole-class learning and support two SLT members with meetings, while maintaining a full timetable and strong classroom management.

The role offers a daily rate of £110–£120, a full-time, long-term contract, and a commitment to CPD and staff growth within a supportive school culture.

Qualifikationen

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering lessons and leading whole-class learning within a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the confidence to work independently.
• The ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different year groups and learners.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to professional development and teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Provide whole-class cover for two members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) while they attend meetings.
• Deliver PPA cover across the school to complete a full-time timetable.
• Ensure continuity of learning and maintain effective classroom management.
• Collaborate with staff to support development and CPD initiatives.
