Job summary

Academics Ltd in Gloucester is recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a welcoming primary school. The role involves delivering pre-planned lessons and providing PPA cover across a couple of year groups.

You will support learning across the curriculum, assist with tracking pupil progress and help with behaviour management, under the direction of teaching staff. Salary is competitive and paid PAYE.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering pre-planned lessons across year groups.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a couple of year groups
• Provide PPA cover when required
• Support small groups and individual pupils
• Support classroom behaviour management
• Assist with tracking pupil progress
