HLTA needed in Worksop, Nottinghamshire (Temporary / Ongoing)

Do you want the chance to lead classes of young students within Primary Education across Worksop?

If you have recently completed a BA Hons Degree or you hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification (Level 4) then Academics want to hear from you.

This role requires confidence, knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum, the ability to maintain engagement from pupils and creative methods to keep pupils on course. The role is a temporary post with possibilities for permanent vacancies within Academic's client schools in the Worksop area.

Responsibilities
  • Lead classes of primary-aged students within EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Apply knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum to plan engaging activities.
  • Maintain pupil engagement using creative teaching methods.

  • Evidence of your highest academic achievement (BA Hons Degree, Level 4 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
  • References from your most recent employer covering the past 24 months.
  • A positive attitude and flexibility with your timetable.
  • Experience working in a classroom setting and leading groups of primary-aged pupils.
  • The ability to commute across Worksop.
  • Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate prior to starting work.
