Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I is seeking a Hire Controller in Bristol to manage the end-to-end hire process and deliver excellent customer service on the front line of sales. The role involves coordinating orders, deliveries and collections, and liaising with depot teams to meet customer needs.

You will work desk-based with cross-department collaboration, ensuring timely fulfillment and building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written.
• Commitment to learn and develop.
• Driving licence.
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or similar sales or operational role.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure customer needs are met.
• Desk-based role working with other departments, liaising with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimize delays in fulfilling customer needs.
