Job summary

Speedy Group is seeking a Hire Controller at the Ossett depot. You will coordinate the end-to-end hire process from order to delivery and collection, liaising with all depot teams to ensure customers receive outstanding service.

Based on the depot, you’ll work closely with stock, drivers and engineers to minimise delays and maintain strong relationships with customers, supporting performance of the ESG strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written.
• Commitment to learn and develop.
• Driving license.
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or similar sales or operational role.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with every part of the depot to ensure customer needs are met and satisfied with our service.
• Work desk-based and collaborate with other departments, stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays.
