Job summary

A civil engineering recruitment company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee various Highways Schemes in Sussex. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience at the PM level in civil engineering, particularly in highways. Responsibilities include managing site teams, delivering projects on time and budget, and ensuring safety standards are met. Degree qualification is required. Qualifications

• Must have experience operating at PM level on civil engineering schemes.
• Extensive recent HIGHWAYS experience (2-3 years minimum).

Responsibilities

• Complete projects profitably in accordance with client's specifications.
• Plan resources and resolve shortfalls/over resourcing issues.
• Manage interface with other parts of the division.
• Ensure all personnel work safely and are trained.
• Prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports.
• Provide value engineering expertise to submit quality tenders.
• Deliver project schemes profitably and on time.
• Assist in recognizing new client targets.
