Zusammenfassung

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Control Centre Operator (Highways Control Room) to oversee the day-to-day coordination of operational resources for road repairs across Leicestershire. The role is hybrid and primarily home based, with support from a skilled team and training provided.

You will analyse highway data, programme sign repairs with cost and locality in mind, and liaise with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of working within highways, civil engineering, or street lighting setting.
• Experience of programming or scheduling works and the control of resources.
• Resolving enquiries in real time, feeding back to customers and other stakeholders, and building positive relationships across stakeholders, peers and partners, creating open and transparent relationships based on trust.
• Knowledge in using ICT systems and business processes to support the efficient delivery of services.
• Understanding of Current legislation, policies and procedures; Highways Act, NRSWA, Traffic Management Act, Traffic Regulation Act, CDM etc.
