Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Network Coordinator to manage temporary road and street works across the county's highway network in accordance with statutory guidance and codes of practice. The role may require out-of-hours work and travel to various locations, including site visits and meetings.

You will need an HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, plus experience in highway maintenance, strong customer focus, and knowledge of relevant legislation.

Qualifications

• Evidence of completing criteria in the application form.
• Experience in highway maintenance or street lighting is essential.
• Ability to resolve enquiries in real time and feed back to customers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ICT systems and processes to support service delivery.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (e.g., Highways Act, NRSWA, Traffic Acts).
• Strong organisational, communication, analytical and creative thinking skills.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
