Job summary

Ara is recruiting four Floating Support Practitioners for its Higher Needs Floating Support Service in the Intensive Support Services department. Based in King’s Court, Bristol, these full-time roles are 35 hours per week and come with a 1-year fixed-term contract.

You will provide practical, relationship-based support to clients in temporary housing, tenancies and discharge settings, working with a multi-agency team to help stabilise accommodation and access more suitable housing when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting clients with multiple needs.
• Self-motivated and able to manage workload.
• Ability to work with multi-agency partners and community services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individual support and risk management plans.
• Provide 1:1 holistic, relationship-based support in the community.
• Engage with cross-sector providers to coordinate care.
• Engage with the wider community to support service users.
