Ara is recruiting four Floating Support Practitioners for its Higher Needs Floating Support Service in the Intensive Support Services department. Based in King’s Court, Bristol, these full-time roles are 35 hours per week and come with a 1-year fixed-term contract.
You will provide practical, relationship-based support to clients in temporary housing, tenancies and discharge settings, working with a multi-agency team to help stabilise accommodation and access more suitable housing when needed.

Ara is a housing and support provider with extensive experience of housing and supporting individuals within housing across the Bristol area.
We are seeking motivated and compassionate Floating Support Practitioners for our Higher Needs Floating Support Service to provide support to individuals accommodated in temporary housing, independent tenancies and unsupported accommodation on discharge or release from prison or hospital. The role will focus on supporting individuals to stabilise and sustain their accommodation or working towards more suitable accommodation where appropriate.
You will provide practical and holistic support to clients within the community through a support and risk management plan which reflects the clients’ choices and aligns with protected characteristics.
