Job summary

Recovery4all in Bristol is seeking four Floating Support Practitioners to provide housing-related support within our Intensive Services Department. The roles are full-time (35 hours per week) on a 1-year fixed-term contract based at King’s Court, Bristol.

You will build relationships with individuals facing rough sleeping, mental health needs and other challenging circumstances, helping them maintain accommodation, access services, and move towards sustainable housing.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting clients with multiple needs.
• Self-motivated and able to manage own workload.
• Weekend working is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily visits to properties.
• Develop support plans and provide floating support.
• Develop move on plans and assist clients to move in/out.
• Support clients to maintain accommodation and access services.
• Work across the Bristol area within Intensive Support Services.

Job Description

Role Purpose

Ara is a housing and support provider with extensive experience of housing and supporting individuals within housing across the Bristol area.

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Floating Support Practitioners to provide support to individuals accommodated in temporary housing. The role will focus on supporting individuals to maintain accommodation, improve wellbeing, access relevant services, and move towards sustainable housing solutions.

You will build positive relationships with individuals facing challenges, including rough sleeping, mental health needs, substance misuse, offending histories, and social exclusion.

Some key tasks within the role will include:

• Completing daily visits to properties.
• Developing support plans and providing floating support.
• Developing move on plans.
• Support clients to move in and move out of accommodation.
• This role includes weekend working.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in supporting clients with multiple needs.
• Be self-motivated, driven and capable of managing their own workload.
