Job summary

Wolseley-based Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Sales Negotiator to manage a ledger of customers, write quotes and chase them up, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals for clients. The role involves handling customer queries by phone, email, and at the counter.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary, bonus potential and a range of benefits including generous annual leave, a pension matched up to 9%, healthcare and other employee

Qualifications

• Previous sales or negotiation experience.
• To be comfortable managing a ledger of customers.
• To be comfortable making outbound calls to customers.
• Merchant experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing a ledger of customers, building and maintaining relationships with customers.
• Writing quotes for customers and chasing them up on these quotes.
• Negotiating with suppliers to get the best deal possible for our customers.
• Managing customer queries via phone, email and behind the trading counter.
