Job summary

Yell is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the UK market within the field sales team. You will prospect, tailor digital marketing solutions, and close deals while managing and growing client accounts for up to a year post-sale.

The role offers a base salary of £35,875 with uncapped earnings potential and a competitive benefits package. A full UK driving license is required, with possible car allowance depending on scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in sales (Field Sales or high performing telesales) such as meeting/exceeding targets.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Resilience and a positive outlook in overcoming objections.
• Excellent presentation skills - verbal and written.
• Experience in solution selling or SaaS is desirable but not essential.
• A full UK driving license is required with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Hunting for new business: proactively prospecting through self-sourced and company-provided leads to open doors to new clients.
• Tailoring solutions: engage in face-to-face and virtual consultations to understand customer needs and offer tailored digital marketing solutions.
• Closing deals: presenting, negotiating, and sealing the deal with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth.
• Client management: nurture relationships and provide account management for up to 12 months post-sale.
• Data analysis: conduct in-depth reviews to identify opportunities for growth and boost client ROI.
