Job summary

Yell is looking for ambitious Business Development Managers to drive growth across the UK. You will uncover new business, tailor digital marketing solutions, and close deals with both new and existing clients while managing relationships for up to a year post-sale.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in sales (Field Sales or High Performing Telesales).
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Resilience and a positive outlook in overcoming objections.
• Excellent presentation skills— both verbal and written.
• Experience in solution selling or SaaS (desirable but not essential).
• A full UK driving license is required with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Hunting for new business: proactively prospecting through self-sourced and company-provided leads, opening doors to new clients.
• Tailoring digital marketing solutions through face-to-face and virtual consultations to fit client needs.
• Closing deals: presenting, negotiating, and securing agreements with new and existing clients.
• Client management: nurturing relationships and managing accounts for up to 12 months post-sale.
• Data analysis: reviewing performance to identify growth opportunities and boost client ROI.
