Job summary

Autoskills-Uk in Brighouse is seeking a HGV Technician for a day shift on a full-time, permanent basis. The role operates a 4 on 4 off pattern from 7am to 7pm with a paid 30-minute lunch.

You will perform repairs from inspections, carry out servicing and MOT prep, diagnose faults, and keep paperwork up to date. Applicants should have full industry qualifications and an apprenticeship; a commercial licence is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Detailed knowledge of Truck & Trailer maintenance.
• A commercial licence would be an advantage but is not essential.

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Brighouse

Working Hours: 4 On 4 Off 7am to 7pm Days (Paid 30 min Lunch)

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £20.91ph = £44000pa + overtime paid at time and a half

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a Day shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technician, you will be required to undertake the following;

• Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
• General Servicing and MOT preparation
• Fault finding & diagnostics
• Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV HGV Technician will have the following attributes;

• hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
• A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
