Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Hull is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their team. You will inspect and repair commercial vehicles to DVSA standards, diagnose faults, and perform mechanical and electrical work to keep vehicles on the road.

The position offers a basic salary up to £46,800, rising to £50,700 with overtime, with a fixed two-week rota and optional overtime. Training and development opportunities are provided within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance Qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an HGV or Van Technician.
• Ability to work to high standards and attention to detail.
• Strong team work ethic and positive attitude.
• Own set of tools and Full UK Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair commercial vehicles to DVSA standards, including MOT preparation and presentation.
• Conduct fault diagnosis using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out general mechanical and electrical repairs as a HGV Technician.
• Attend breakdowns onsite and offsite as required.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards, ensuring vehicles remain on the road.
