Job summary

Autoskills-Uk is seeking an HGV Technician for our Coatbridge depot. The role involves night shift work, carrying out repairs, servicing, MOT preparation and accurate paperwork updates for a busy truck and trailer maintenance operation.

Applicants should hold full industry qualifications and an apprenticeship, with strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of truck/trailer maintenance. A commercial licence is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Hold full industry qualifications and have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
• Demonstrated ability to fault find and diagnose faults on HGVs/trailers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs highlighted on initial inspection.
• General servicing and MOT preparation.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Update all required paperwork/databases.

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Coatbridge

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 7pm
Wednesday to Saturday 7am to 7pm

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £21ph 45 hour week £47K to £50K per annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a night shift.

Responsibilities

• Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
• General Servicing and MOT preparation
• Fault finding & diagnostics
• Updating all required paperwork / databases

Attributes

• hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
• A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
