Job description

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Livingston

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off days & nights 7pm to 7pm (Mirror shift)

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £20.13ph days & £22.37ph nights + Overtime.

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a day or night shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  2. General Servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:
  1. Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  2. Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance.
  3. A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential.
