Job summary

Autoskills-Uk is recruiting an HGV Technician for a day shift at our Springburn depot. This full-time, permanent role offers a 45-hour week and a financial package of £21 per hour (£49,000+ per annum), with Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm and Wednesday-Saturday 7am-7pm shifts.

You will be part of an established team responsible for repairs highlighted on initial inspections, general servicing and MOT preparation, fault finding and diagnostics, and updating paperwork/databases.

Qualifications

• Ability to fault-find electrical/mechanical faults on HGVs.
• Competent diagnostics using specialist equipment.
• Experience with MOT preparation and procedures.

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a day shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technician, you will be required to undertake the following:

• Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
• General Servicing and MOT preparation
• Fault finding & diagnostics
• Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV HGV Technician will have the following attributes:

• hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
• A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
