Job summary

Adler & Allan Ltd is seeking an HGV Tanker Apprentice / Drainage Operative to join our field team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves on-site work, with up to 4 nights away, learning from the Senior HGV Tanker Driver and taking on duties such as tank and line testing, response to call outs, and site leadership when required.

You will work independently or in teams, maintain equipment and paperwork, and liaise with customers to discuss ongoing works and future services.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full clean UK driving licence for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Right to work in the UK.
• RAMS documentation knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Respond to call outs for critical issues.
• Attend site briefings and act as team lead when required.
• Complete paperwork and submit to supervision promptly.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, PPE in good order.
• Liaise with customers on on-going works and future services.
• Carry out tank and line testing, RAMS where applicable.
