Job summary

Adler & Allan Ltd is hiring a HGV Tanker Apprentice / Drainage Operative in Manchester. The role is permanent, full-time and onsite with up to 4 nights away. You will learn from the Senior HGV Tanker Driver while performing tank and line testing, dewatering, and onsite operations.

The position requires a clean UK driving licence and willingness to undertake training. You will engage with customers on-site, maintain equipment, and complete all required paperwork, with opportunities to take on

Qualifications

Must hold a full clean UK driving licence with categories to operate up to 3.5 tonnes.
Experience with RAMS documentation is advantageous.
Willing to undertake additional training to support the division.

Responsibilities

Operate and support tank and line testing, and dewatering as required.
Respond to call-outs for critical issues and take appropriate action.
Assume site supervisor/lead operative duties when required and lead teams.
Complete all paperwork accurately and submit to supervision in a timely manner.
Liaise with customers on-site to discuss ongoing works and future services.
Maintain the vehicle, equipment, PPE and ensure readiness at all times.
Support continuous improvement and report potential opportunities to supervision.
Perform any other duties within your qualification and capability.
