Job summary

Adler & Allan Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a HGV Tanker Apprentice / Drainage Operative to join our team. You will work on-site with potential nights away, learning from the Senior HGV Tanker Driver and supporting tank testing, dewatering and related tasks.

The role involves site liaison, paperwork completion, and occasional leadership as a supervisor when required, with on-site training provided. A valid UK driving licence and willingness to train are essential.

Qualifications

• Clean UK driving licence and ability to operate vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
• RAMS documentation knowledge is advantageous.
• Right to Work in the UK is essential.
• Willingness to undertake additional training to support the division.

Responsibilities

• Operate independently or in a team to service customers, including tank/line testing and dewatering.
• Respond to call-outs for critical issues.
• Attend site briefings as company representative when required.
• Maintain vehicle, PPE and equipment; report damages promptly.
• Complete paperwork and submit to supervision on time.
• Liaise with supervision and propose improvements where applicable.
• Perform any other duties within qualification and capability.
