Job summary

Adler and Allan Group is seeking a HGV Tanker Apprentice / Drainage Operative to join our on-site team and keep operations flowing. You will learn from the Senior HGV Tanker Driver and gain practical experience in tank testing, dewatering, and site supervision duties.

This permanent full-time role offers onsite work with occasional nights away and on-the-job training to expand capabilities across the division. Candidates should have a full clean UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Full clean UK driving licence, categories to operate Company vehicles up to 3.5 tonne.
• Experience working on Petrol Forecourts or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate tank and line testing, VR testing and tank dewatering; onsite training provided.
• Respond to call outs for critical issues.
• Attend site briefings as a company representative and occasionally act as team leader.
• Carry out RAMS documentation and reporting; ensure paperwork is submitted timely.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure PPE and tools are ready for use.
