About the Role

We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full‑time basis for days on our wastewater contract. Driving a vacuum tanker, the work involves tankering various non‑hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. A phone and an app will outline the jobs assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor.

All candidates must hold a UK HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence with CPC and an up‑to‑date digital tachograph card.

Location: Working out of Budds Farm

Hours: 5 in 7 days, 06:00–16:30 / 50 hours per week

Salary: £17 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV‑mounted vacuum and tanker for drainage and waste‑management tasks.
  • Manage job sites independently, ensuring safe practices and high‑quality work.
  • Communicate professionally with customers.
  • Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and report any faults promptly.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards, including correct PPE use and regulatory compliance.
