Job summary

Enva Group is recruiting a HGV Trade Driver for our Linwood site. You will work a dayshift from 5am to 3pm, five days a week, totaling 45 hours with eligibility for overtime.

You will safely drive to collect, transport and deliver waste materials on allocated routes while maintaining high customer service and safety standards. Key tasks include vehicle inspections, completing waste transfer notes, and ensuring compliance with Duty of Care regulations.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 2 LGV driving licence.
• Hold a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Demonstrate a professional and organised approach to work.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Demonstrate initiative and a self-motivated, standalone capability.
• Be flexible and committed to duties and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV vehicles on designated routes in a safe, timely and professional manner.

HGV Driver - Trade Waste

Description

We are recruiting a HGV Trade Driver to join our team in Linwood you will be working a dayshift from 5am to 3pm, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), 45h with eligibility for overtime.

In this role you will safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Report any safety concerns, hazard observations, accidents and incidents in a timely manner to allow full investigation and prevent re-occurrence.
• Complete daily pre-start vehicle inspections and submit to Transport dept.
• Report all accidents, vehicle defects, breakdowns.
• Waste Transportation: Operate HGV vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver waste materials between designated locations.
• Ensuring compliance with Duty of Care regulations by inspecting waste and completing waste transfer notes, sheeting all loads to ensure secure transit of waste on the public highway.
• The completion of relevant tickets or the use of the handheld device (As appropriate), detailing the necessary information and obtaining a customer signature.
• Ensure that health, safety and welfare standards are maintained in accordance with the Company’s safety policy, Risk Assessments, Safe Working Procedures and Instructions.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab.
• Assist in the control and co-ordination of work to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
