Job summary

Enva Group is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to diagnose, repair and rectify faults on our waste management fleet. You will ensure vehicles are returned to service safely, efficiently and in full compliance with legal and company standards.

The role focuses on fault diagnosis, major repairs and breakdown response across a fleet of waste collection vehicles, skip loaders, hook loaders (RORO) and heavy goods vehicles.

Qualifications

• Level 3 City & Guilds in maintenance of heavy goods vehicles (or equivalent).
• C+E Licence is required or desired.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and rectify defects on the fleet to return to service safely and in compliance.
• Fault diagnosis, major repairs, breakdown response and defect rectification across the fleet.
• Carry out structural and bodywork repairs as required.
• Repair lifting equipment and ancillary systems fitted to vehicles.
• Complete repairs safely and to manufacturer specifications.

Description

To diagnose, repair and rectify defects on the company's waste management fleet, ensuring vehicles are returned to service safely, efficiently and in full compliance with legal and company standards.

The role focuses on fault diagnosis, major repairs, breakdown response and defect rectification across a fleet of waste collection vehicles, skip loaders, hook loaders (RORO), trade waste vehicles and heavy goods vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• To diagnose, repair and rectify defects on the company's waste management fleet, ensuring vehicles are returned to service safely, efficiently and in full compliance with legal and company standards.
• The role focuses on fault diagnosis, major repairs, breakdown response and defect rectification across a fleet of waste collection vehicles, skip loaders, hook loaders (RORO), and heavy goods vehicles.
• Carry out structural and bodywork repairs where required.
• Repair lifting equipment and ancillary systems fitted to waste collection vehicles.
• Complete repairs safely and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
