Job summary

Metro Rod Lancashire invites applications for a full-time HGV Tanker Driver/Jet Vac Driver based at Wigan depot. Salary is dependent on experience, with opportunities in a growing national group that serves FM, social housing, retail and more.

You will operate tanker units, perform jetting and drainage maintenance, adhere to safety standards, log job details in internal systems, and provide excellent customer service to high-profile clients. Flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Tanker Jetting is essential.
• Clean HGV License.
• Confined space preferable.
• High pressure water jetting experience.
• CSCS preferable.
• Will have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude and willing to work additional hours as needed.
• Be willing to work occasional / unsociable hours.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Operating a variety of Tanker units, performing cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains and delivering excellent customer service.
• Carrying out cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains.
• Operating High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment.
• Providing customer service and technical expertise.
• Recording work details via internal systems and apps.
• Communicating with high-profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre.

What’s involved?

• Operating a Variety of Tanker units, you will carry out a range of services associated with the tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains, whilst delivering an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise.
• Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains
• Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
• Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps
• Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided

What do we look for?

Suitable candidates will be able to display a great working attitude together with skills pertaining to the clearance, cleaning and repair of drainage systems.

• Experience in Tanker Jetting is essential
