Job summary

Panda is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Widnes depot, operating skip and RoRo vehicles in the local area. You will deliver and collect containers, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure safety compliance while providing excellent customer service.

We value reliability and teamwork, with a 45-hour guaranteed week, paid breaks, and overtime at £18.09 per hour after 40 hours. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C).
Driver CPC and digital tachograph card required.
Experience driving HGVs, ideally in waste management.
Strong knowledge of vehicle safety, maintenance and compliance.
Reliable, professional and team-focused approach.
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Willing to start at 6am and work occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently.
Deliver, exchange and collect containers across customer sites.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations and road laws.
Provide professional, on-site customer service.
Support the Widnes depot team.
