Job summary

Panda is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our Widnes depot. You will operate skip and RoRo vehicles, deliver and collect containers, perform daily checks, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes customer service and teamwork within a busy transport operation.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C).
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Proven HGV driving experience, ideally in waste management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations and compliance.
• Reliable, professional with teamwork mindset.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused attitude.
• Flexible with early starts (6am) and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver, exchange and collect containers across sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and road regulations.
• Work safely at all times and follow site rules.
• Provide professional service to customers on site.
• Support Widnes depot and transport team.
