Job summary

Panda is hiring an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join the Widnes team, operating skip and RoRo vehicles locally. You will deliver, exchange and collect containers, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while providing excellent customer service.

This full-time role offers a 45-hour week with 14.47£ per hour, overtime at 18.09£ after 40 hours, paid breaks, PPE and uniform, and a pension. A reliable, flexible driver with a can-do attitude will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Proven experience driving HGVs, ideally in waste management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations and compliance.
• Reliable, professional with teamwork mindset.
• Flexible with early starts and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver, exchange, and collect containers at customer sites.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental standards and road laws.
• Work safely at all times and follow site and transport regulations.
• Provide professional, helpful service to customers on site and support Widnes depot.
