Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for day shifts in Glasgow. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, operate a Class 2 vehicle, and ensure paperwork is accurate.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and road knowledge, with a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) is required.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of local road networks and driving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to retail, hospitality, and business customers.
• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in line with road and safety regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Load and unload goods, often involving manual handling.
• Ensure all deliveries are accurate and supported by correct paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Follow planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Adhere to all driving laws, working time directives, and tachograph regulations.

Drivers required: HGV Class 2

Location: Glasgow

Shifts: Days

Rates HGV Class 2

• £21.50 per hour (Not including holiday pay)
• £24.30 per hour (Including holiday pay)

****Estimated weekly pay based on 45 hours £967.50****

****Expected annual earnings £50,310**** Inclusive of holiday pay

Duties:
