HG Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for our client in Haydock. Flexible shift options include day and night starts with regular, secure work and potential for permanent placement.

Roles include trunking or multidrop deliveries, load handling, pre-journey checks, and maintaining high safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in line with road laws and company policies
• Complete trunking or multidrop deliveries to retail stores, depots, or business locations
• Load and unload goods using roll cages, tail lifts, or manual handling equipment
• Check load security and complete pre-journey vehicle inspections
• Accurately complete all delivery paperwork and digital confirmations
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
• Follow all health & safety and manual handling guidelines
• Communicate effectively with transport and warehouse teams

HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Haydock. These positions offer a fantastic opportunity to join a respected wholesale and distribution business, providing regular and secure work with flexible shift options and opportunities for permanent employment.

Pay Rates & Estimated Earnings

Class 1 (C+E) Days

• Monday to Friday: £19.53/hr O/T £29.29
• Saturday & Sunday: £28.12/hr O/T £35.16
• Bank Holiday: £46.89/hr
• Estimated Weekly Pay: £1,074.15
• Estimated Annual Pay: £55,855.80

Key Responsibilities
