Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver for night shifts at Severnside in the UK. This full-time, permanent role offers 4-on/4-off shifts with an 18:00 start, competitive pay, and a £20 weekly supplementary payment.

You will operate Terberg units, position vehicles, perform safety and regulatory checks, and complete all paperwork to maintain high standards of operation. Opportunities for permanent progression exist within a busy logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Terberg unit to move trailers and vehicles around the depot.
• Position vehicles and trailers in designated locations.
• Carry out vehicle and trailer checks in line with company procedures.
• Ensure all yard movements are completed safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to site health & safety and compliance requirements at all times.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and records accurately.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and safe working practices.

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Shunter Driverto join our busy operation in Severnside

This is afull-time, perm opportunityoffering regular hours, competitive rates of pay, and the chance to secure a permanent position with a leading logistics operation.

Shift Pattern

• 4on4off
• Start Time: 18:00

Pay Rates

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

✅ Additional£20 weekly supplementary payment

✅ Onlyone 30-minute unpaid break deducted per shift
