Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.

• Previous Class 1 driving or shunting experience is advantageous.
• Good understanding of vehicle and site safety.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Safety boots and high-visibility vest.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries of building products to customer sites.
• Safely operate modern Class 1 vehicles for night deliveries.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and transport documentation.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service.
• Shunter duties: move trailers, couple/uncouple, site checks.
• Maintain a safe, organised yard and follow procedures.

Your responsibilities

Class 1 Driving:

• Complete deliveries of building products to customer sites
• Safely and efficiently operate modern Class 1 vehicles
• Complete deliveries during night-time operations
• Provide a professional and customer-focused delivery service
• Complete daily vehicle checks and transport documentation
• Assist with minimal manual handling where required

Class 1 Shunting:

• Safely move and position trailers around the site and yard
• Couple and uncouple trailers as required
• Carry out vehicle and trailer checks
• Position vehicles and trailers correctly for loading and unloading
• Maintain a safe and organised yard environment
• Follow all site, transport, health & safety and company procedures

What we're looking for

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph CardPrevious Class 1 driving or shunting experience is advantageous
• Good understanding of vehicle and site safety

Working Hours

This is a night shift position with weekend working required.

Shifts will typically be around 10 hours, with start times scheduled according to the client's operational requirements.
