Job description

HGV Class 1 Night Shift Trunk Driver, Paisley, 18.90 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a permanent role based in Paisley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and respected company, with a clear route to a long-term position.

Start on Night Shift - Move to Day Shift After 13 Week. You will initially work on the night shift (start times between 8pm and midnight) for the first 13 weeks. After this period, drivers will transition to a permanent day shift schedule - ideal for those looking for stability and work-life balance.

Pay & Benefits

• 18.90 per hour starting rate
• Time and a half paid for all hours over 45 hours per week
• Weekly pay and full holiday entitlement
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
• Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Collecting stock from depots and returning to the Glasgow base
• Dropping stock and returning empty cages/pallets
• Securing loads to ensure safe transit

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year practical HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Full C+E licence, CPC, and digital tachograph
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety1
• A flexible and positive attitude
