Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc in Ware is seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our growing fleet. You will be responsible for delivering kerbside waste and bulky waste materials across the region, ensuring timely and safe collections.

You must hold a HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with up-to-date CPC and Digi/Tachograph card. We offer generous annual leave, pension access, and ongoing training as part of a supportive, Disability Confident employer.

• Digi/Tachograph card up to date and compliant with drivers regulations.

• Deliver kerbside waste and recycling materials across the region.
• Operate in a safe, compliant manner with vehicle checks and records.
• Support early delivery of council ambitions to reduce landfill.

Job description

Once operational, the transfer station will receive kerbside waste and recycling materials from the surrounding areas, while a bulky waste shredding facility will assist in early delivery of the council's ambition to send zero waste to landfill by 2030. The building will be equipped with modern noise and odour controls, ensuring minimal impact on the surrounding areas. What are we looking for?

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Up to date CPC and Digi / Tachograph card
