Job summary

Veolia Group in Marchwood, near Southampton, is hiring a driver. Salary £34,636.85 plus overtime. Hours are 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with start times between 6am and 7am. Location: Marchwood, SO40 4BD.

You will collect waste from Transfer Stations and HWRCs across Hampshire, drive and load the vehicle, and operate it in line with UK regulations to ensure safety. Paperwork must be kept up to date daily.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence and experience.
• Up to date CPC and Digi / Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Collecting waste from Transfer Stations and Household Waste Recycling Centres across Hampshire
• Drive and load the vehicle assigned to you
• Operating vehicles in line with UK traffic regulations ensuring safety for you and the people around you
• Checking the condition of your vehicle
• Ensuring your vehicle is kept neat and tidy at the end of your shift
• Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and handed in daily.
