Job summary

Veolia in Marchwood is seeking a dedicated driver to collect waste from Transfer Stations and Household Waste Recycling Centres across Hampshire, driving and loading the vehicle as required. You will operate vehicles in line with UK traffic regulations, maintain vehicle condition and keep paperwork up to date daily.

The role offers overtime when needed, a 42.5-hour week, and benefits such as pension and health resources. A uniform and ongoing training are provided to support your development.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence and experience.
• Up to date CPC and Digi / Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Collecting waste from Transfer Stations and Household Waste Recycling Centres across Hampshire.
• Drive and load the vehicle assigned to you.
• Operating vehicles in line with UK traffic regulations ensuring safety for you and the people around you.
• Checking the condition of your vehicle.
• Ensuring your vehicle is kept neat and tidy at the end of your shift.
• Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and handed in daily.

Salary: £34,636.85 + overtime when needed

Hours: 42.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - start times between 6am and 7am

Location: Marchwood, SO40 4BD
