Job summary

Blue Arrow is hiring for a HGV Class 1 Driver in Leeds (LS23). Roles involve pre-booked, ongoing shifts with a 12-hour average shift and start times between 14:00 and 20:00, 24-7 operations. Deliver parcels to Midlands hubs with straight trunks, using a modern fleet and telematics.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class C+E licence required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 experience.
• Tachograph data showing work over last 6 months.
• Licence must be free of DR/DG/CD/DD/BA and no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels to Midlands hubs and back with straight trunk runs.
• Operate with telematics and route planning tools.
• Pre-booked rota and shift patterns to support work-life balance.

Contract Type: Pre-booked, ongoing

Location: Leeds, LS23

Pay Rates

• * Monday - Thursday: £18.15ph and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours


• * Friday: £18.15ph until midnight, £23.52ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours


• * Saturday: £23.52ph until midnight, £26.25ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours


• * Sunday: £26.25ph until midnight, £18.15ph after and £25.25ph OT after 8 hours

45 minute break deducted daily and rates increase after 12 weeks service

Shift Patterns

• * Shifts: Operation runs 24-7 Monday to Sunday


• * Average Shift Length: 12 hours


• * Start times vary between 14:00 - 20:00 depending on weekly requirements


• * Pre-booked rota for better planning
