Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Wakefield. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain delivery records, and ensure safety compliance.

You must hold a valid HGV 1/C+E licence, DCPC and Tacho cards, with at least 6 months experience and <=6 points. Modern facilities and 24/7 on-site support available.

Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)

The rate of pay is £19.29 to £34.67 per hour.

This role offers various shifts with the start times between 00:00 - 23:59.

With the latest vehicles on the market, this gives you the best HGV experience and a top-range vehicle to work with! Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Wakefield - Yorkshire.

Your Time at Work

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
