Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Skelmersdale. Consolidated pay rates between £16.37 - £20.17 per hour with ongoing Adhoc work available.

Deliver ambient products, conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, keep logs and paperwork, and follow all health and safety rules. You must hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, CPC and Tacho cards, and have a minimum of 12 months Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions. On-site support is available.

Your Time at Work

• Delivering ambient products - RDC or drop and swap (Fridges)
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, CPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
