Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Markham Vale. You will operate high value vehicles, with a focus on safety, logbook accuracy and on-time deliveries.

The role offers 5 out of 7 and 4 on 4 off shifts with AM/PM patterns. Weekly pay rates are £14.66–£16.91 per hour, plus 24/7 on-site support and modern facilities to support your work.

Competenze

• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.

Mansioni

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Maintain accurate deliveries, logbooks and paperwork per policy and law.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.

Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)

The rate of pay is:

• Weekday £14.66 per hour
• Weeknight £15.53 per hour
• Saturday £16.40 per hour
• Sunday £16.91 per hour

This role offers 5 out of 7 and 4 on 4 off, AM and PM shifts.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
