Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Gadbrook. Ongoing adhoc work with pay between £21.61 and £25.91 per hour. You will conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months HGV Class 1 experience, a valid HGV 1/C+E licence, CPC and Tacho cards, and will follow all safety protocols, including PPE and driver hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, CPC & Tacho cards.
• Maximum 6 points with no DD/DR convictions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Gadbrook.

Consolidated pay rates between £21.61 - £25.91 per hour.

This role offers ongoing adhoc work!

Your Time at Work

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, CPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
