Job summary

HireGiant Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Driver for our Nottingham-based client in Bestwood. The role is ongoing with regular daytime hours on a Class 2 LGV2 vehicle, delivering for a large distributor and performing some collections.

Daily runs typically involve 8–15 deliveries, occasional handball, and drops handled with an electric pump truck. Start times are 07:00–09:00, Monday to Friday; PAYE with LTD options available.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing role with regular daytime hours on a Class 2 LGV2 vehicle delivering for a large distributor.
• Do HGV collection and delivery work on a Class 2 LGV vehicle.
• Daily runs involve 8–15 deliveries with some collections and occasional handball.
• Drops mainly handled with an electric pump truck and all trucks are well maintained.

Here at HireGiant we require a Class 2 Driverwith our well-established client in the Nottingham, Bestwood.

The Class 2 Driver Role:

The HGV 2 driver will be on an ongoing basis, so will suit someone looking for regularhours. The work starts immediately and involves collection and delivery work for a large distributor. You will be required to do HGV collection and delivery work on a Class 2 LGV vehicle.

On your daily runs the driver will be doing anything between 8-15 deliveries with some collections. There may be some element of handball but mainly the drops are taken off with a electric pump truck. All Trucks are used but well maintained, please ensure you abide by WTD & EU driver regulations.

• Cat C / LGV2 Licence
• Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest

Hours & Pay for the HGV 2 Driver role :

• The start time is between 0700-0900 and we have immediate starts for the right candidate, and this will be a full time role.
• Working pattern is Monday to Friday

The hourly rate for the Class 2 Driver role is:

• Up to £14.50 - £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday

Class 2 Driver required

The role is PAYE but we do have LTD work available.
