Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers for a Nottingham-area client. Roles include nights and twilight shifts with on-going opportunities for permanent positions.

You will securely move palletised parcels between sub depots, handle 1–5 stops per run, and use tail lift/pump truck for loading and unloading. Applicants must hold a full UK licence with Class 2 entitlement, DCPC, and a valid Tachograph card.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.

Responsibilities

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
• Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.
• Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Nottingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Shifts: Shifts run across Monday to Sunday

Hours:

Start time Nights: 22:00pm - 23:59pm

Start time Twilights : 14:00pm -16:00pm

Pay Rate:

• Nights - £16.92 per hour
• Twilight -£15.43 per hour

Location: Nottingham-NG16 3UA

Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent
