City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council's Keighley Local Studies Library seeks a Local Studies & Archive Assistant to join our team.

You will assist with frontline services, support visitors, respond to enquiries by phone and email, and help with stocking, indexing, cataloguing, events and activities to engage residents with local history.

Qualifications

• Interest in history and heritage
• Experience in library and/or archives collections
• Experience in a customer focused environment

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-focused enquiry and research service on frontline. Answer enquiries by phone and email.
• Assist with maintenance of stock and collection management tasks including indexing and cataloguing.
• Assist with events and activities and engage people with heritage and local area.
