Job summary

Bradford Cathedral is seeking an enthusiastic Education & Visitor Assistant to help deliver learning, heritage and culture experiences for schools, families and visitors in a historic city landmark.

You will support the planning and delivery of school visits, workshops and learning activities, welcome diverse visitors, assist with family events and public programmes, and help with resources, admin and evaluation of impact.

Qualifications

• Experience with children, young people or community groups.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Confident communication with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Good administrative and IT skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Interest in learning, heritage or community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of school visits, workshops and learning activities.
• Welcome and engage visitors, schools and community groups.
• Assist with family events and public programmes.
• Prepare resources and activity materials.
• Support administration, communications and record keeping.
• Gather feedback and evaluate impact of activities.
• Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive visitor experience.
