Experience in a library or archives and a passion for local history are desirable; you will work as part of a friendly team, delivering front-line services and helping with cataloguing, stock maintenance, and community events.

Qualifications

• Experience of library and/or archives collections.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-focused enquiry and research service to visitors.
• Answer enquiries by phone and email.
• Assist with stock maintenance and indexing/cataloguing of collections.
• Help with events and activities and engage people with heritage.
• Work within the team to deliver front-line services.
